MIDDLEBURY — Photographer Nina McKitty joins the many artists who are gracing the walls for the Winter Exhibit at the Art Gallery at Shutter Speed Photo at 564 Middlebury Rd., now through the end of February, 2025.

Ms. McKitty’s career course took several turns; positions included registered nurse, nurse practitioner, senior positions in Human Resources and independent consultant. Upon retirement her career took yet another turn: photography and digital artist.

Being influenced by her interest in nature, art and travel, she studies the many “capture and production methods” available through the evolving technology, and incorporates them into her work.

The Winter Exhibit includes new paintings by eleven different artists that have had previous shows, a collection that brings all four seasons to life.

The Gallery also has hand crafted jewelry and gift items, pottery, hand painted silk scarves, wooden and glass pieces, photos and cards.

Gallery hours are from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., then 2:30 to 5 p.m. Thursdays and, and from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. then 2:30 to 4 p.m. Saturdays, or by appointment. Those seeking more information may call Michele at 203-598-3933.
